When Does ‘Yellowstone’ Return? Here’s When Season 5, Part 2 Premieres On Paramount Network

It was another crazy week in the wild, wild world of Yellowstone.

A number of your favorite cowboys are back on the ranch as a slew of Yellowstone stars, including Cole Hauser (Rip), Ryan Bingham (Walker), Forrie J. Smith (Lloyd Pierce), Ian Bohen (Ryan), Finn Little (Carter), Brecken Merrill (Tate Dutton), and Wendy Moniz (Governor Lynelle Perry), posted on social media that they were back shooting Paramount Network’s beloved Western saga.

We know that production is back in full swing, but when exactly can you expect new episodes of Yellowstone to premiere on Paramount Network and Peacock? Great question! Here’s everything you need to know.

When Will Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2 Be On Peacock?
Unfortunately, it’s going to be a while. The midseason finale of Yellowstone aired January 1, 2023, on Paramount Network and the first eight episodes of the season debuted May 25, 2023 on Peacock.

Is Kevin Costner Leaving Yellowstone?
Yep. On June 20, Costner confirmed his permanent exit from the series in a social media video.

“I just want to reach out and let you know that after this long year and a half of working on Horizon, and doing all the things that’s required and thinking about Yellowstone, that beloved series that I love, that I know you love, I just realized that I’m not going to be able to continue, Season 5B or into the future,” Costner said. “It was something that really changed me. I loved it and I know you loved it, and I just wanted to let you know that I won’t be returning. I love the relationship we’ve been able to develop, and I’ll see you at the movies.”
