EastEnders fans have been left concerned for one character as she seemingly appeared to ‘go missing’ on the show.

The BBC soap has been lacking appearances from one Walford legend over the past few weeks and fans have already begun to notice.

Stacey Slater, played by Lacey Turner, has been central to some of the soap’s biggest stories over the past 12 months including her role within The Six.

Although she has now begun to appear significantly less as the character enjoys a period of down time.

Stacey has been seen in just four episodes over the past two months having made appearances in mid-May as well as two episodes last month.

One fan has now even created a joke missing poster for the Stacey’s Baps worked appealing for any information.

A photo of a beaming Stacey in a red top could be seen with the message emblazoned over the top: “Missing – Have you seen Stacey Slater?”

The caption then went on to say as part of the faux appeal: “HAVE YOU SEEN THIS WOMAN?

“Stacey Slater from Walford, East London was last seen consecutively on the 15th & 16th May 2024.

“Reported sightings of Stacey were made on the 4th & 13th June 2024.

“Help find Miss Slater & bring her home!”

As fans of the BBC soap debated her current fleeting appearances one fan insisted: “She deserved a break after such a solid year last year.”

Stacey had been at the heart of the action in the programme thanks to being part of The Six.

It saw her involved with the murder of Keanu Taylor and bury his body along with the rest of the women in the group.

She also played an instrumental part in framing Dean Wicks for the crime after the body was uncovered by the cops.

Stacey placed the murder weapon, Linda’s meat-thermometer, within Dean’s belongings at his flat before he planned to ditch the country for New York.

The police were then able to link him to the crime and insist that he was fleeing the country to escape being sent to jail for the crime.
