Lauren (Tracey Bregman) was devastated when Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) “died.” Of course, she was relieved her friend turned up alive, but she was also furious that Phyllis had put her (and everyone else) through grieving by faking her death.

Even so, she’s mostly stuck by Phyllis because that’s the kind of friend Lauren is. Now, though, when Lauren gives Phyllis unsolicited advice, will Phyllis listen? Knowing Phyllis, probably not.

Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) decided to go straight to a justice of the peace a while ago to get married. Of course, very few people ended up being there with them. Even Kyle (Michael Mealor) couldn’t find the time to go.

Since then, they decided to plan a big party for all their nearest and dearest to celebrate. Sure, not all that many people in Genoa City are thrilled that they tied the knot, but surely some people will show up. Traci (Beth Maitland), Kyle, and Billy (Jason Thompson) will surely attend. Even Mamie (Veronica Redd) could show up to support Jackie.
