The Young and the Restless Recap: Tuesday, September 12 – Tucker Seeks Attorney After Paris Blowup – Billy’s Sudden Reversal

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 12,

reveals that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will meet up with

Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) following the latter’s trip to Milan,

so they’ll try to move past the recent tension.

Summer will talk about being ready to move on, but Phyllis will hint that things don’t have to be over in Summer’s marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

However, Summer will warn Phyllis to let her children handle their own lives and avoid doing any more damage.

Phyllis will mention that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) is happy with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), but she’ll wonder how long that’ll last with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) back in town.

That’ll lead to Summer once again warning Phyllis to back off and focus on keeping her own life on a positive track.

Summer will offer to give Phyllis a ride as she leaves, but Phyllis will admit she’s sticking around Society to meet with Heather.

At Crimson Lights, Daniel will be apologetic during a chat with Heather since Phyllis put her on the spot about moving back to the states.

What happened on Y&R Tuesday, September 12?

Heather will admit things didn’t work out with the guy she was dating named Christopher, so she’ll hint about Lucy wanting to be a family with her parents again.

Daniel will suggest they can be a family even if he’s not back with Heather and will plan to talk to Lucy about that later.

After Heather says she’s not sure she wants to go back to Lisbon, she plans to look for a new practice in Savannah or perhaps Genoa City.

Although Heather will act like she’s all about doing what’s best for Lucy, Daniel will advise Heather to do what’s best for her, too.

When Heather mentions that she’s meeting Phyllis soon, Daniel will admit he has a funny feeling that his mom wants them back together.

At Jabot, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will surprise Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) with a wedding celebration party invite, so they’ll talk about having the bash in early October.

Jack will want to make all the arrangements so he can surprise Diane with the details.

After Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) mulls over his recent fight with Jack, he’ll find his brother kissing Diane and will interrupt with an apology.

Billy will admit he bought Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) narratives when they played to his worst impulses.

Once Billy says he’s sorry for letting things go that far, Diane will be relieved that he no longer sees her as a threat to the family company or his position there.

Jack will suggest a celebratory lunch now that Billy has this new attitude, so they’ll head to the GCAC with Diane on Tuesday’s Y&R episode.

At the athletic club, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will find Tucker sulking alone, so she’ll comment on that being the shortest honeymoon on record.

Audra will think Tucker looks rough, so she’ll push for answers about what happened with Ashley in Paris.

Tucker will mention getting into an argument with Ashley, but he’ll eventually hint that maybe it was a little more than that.

When Audra pushes for more info, Tucker will snap at her to let it go before apologizing for taking his anger out on her.

Once Billy, Jack, and Diane enter, they’ll have plenty of questions for Tucker as well. Tucker will tell them all to ask Ashley before stomping off – and Audra won’t be willing to offer any answers about her earlier conversation with Tucker either.

Jack will leave Ashley a concerned voicemail before he speculates with Billy and Diane about Tucker betraying or hurting Ash in some way.

Billy will think they need to focus on what Tucker might do next, so Jack will acknowledge that he can be unpredictable and dangerous when he’s pushed too far.

Diane won’t think Jack should drive himself crazy worrying about the worst-case scenario and will contend that they can keep an eye on Tucker until they get updates from Ashley.

After Diane leaves, Jack will try to clear the air with Billy and make sure things are good between them.

Billy will assure Jack that he supports Diane’s desire to be part of the family business and that he’s going to help her.

Jack will insist he’s glad to have Billy back in his corner and will think they should concentrate on moving forward.

Nevertheless, both Billy and Jack will seem pensive after they shake hands and part ways.

In the park, Diane will deliver the news to Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) about Tucker coming home early from Paris without Ashley.

That’ll leave Abby a bit panicked, so she’ll leave a voicemail for Ashley and demand to know what’s going on.

In Tucker’s suite, he’ll recall celebrating his wedding night with Ashley.

There’ll also be a newly created flashback where Ashley hints about blood being stronger than her argument with Jack, so Tucker will remember not liking the look in her eyes.

At the coffeehouse, Summer and Daniel will talk about Phyllis’ desire to repair their love lives without their input.

After Summer insists she doesn’t want Phyllis to fix her marriage to Kyle, Daniel will note that he only wants to be friends and co-parents with Heather.

Daniel will feel like they have to stop Phyllis’ meddling, so Summer will agree since their mother could make things worse.

When Heather joins Phyllis at Society, Tucker spots her there and finds out that she might be staying in town.

If Heather does decide to stay, Tucker will admit he’s going to need a good attorney!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tucker and Ashley’s marriage has obviously imploded, so stay tuned to see what’s next for these two.
