A terrifying situation lies ahead for a beloved Coronation Street character as she collapses in agony in a new spoiler video.

Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) leaves Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) concerned next week when she arrives home complaining that she is feeling unwell.

Nick and Toyah have grown worryingly close in recent weeks, after Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) began pushing them away in favour of The Institute.

Unable to seek support from her sister, Toyah confided in Nick that she had had a stillborn baby after being raped in 2001.

After being arrested for the baby’s murder, but eventually cleared of the charge and given permission to bury her, things grew even more tense between Toyah, Nick and Leanne.

Because of this, Nick and Toyah ended up being drawn to each other, and soon fell into bed together. A reckless decision indeed.

With Toyah feeling worse for wear, Nick heads out to get some tomato soup, claiming that son Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) swears by it when he’s ill.

However, as Nick leaves, things take a horrifying turn as Toyah collapses in agony, clutching her stomach and calling for help from Nick.

When Nick Later returns, he rushes her to the hospital, where he and Leanne wait anxiously by her bedside, with Leanne completely unaware of what has gone on between her fiancé and sister.

As the doctor reveals what is really wrong with Toyah, the trio are left completely stunned.

As if that wasn’t enough to take in, the next day Toyah is left dumbfounded by yet another bombshell from her doctor.

What is wrong with her, and will she be okay?
