Barney Walsh, the son of TV royalty Bradley, has carved
himself a career in his own right in recent years.
The 26 year old actor played a young King Arthur in Guy Ritchie’s
renowned film King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword, sharing screen
time with David Beckham and Jude Law. He also co-starred with his dad in the travel series Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad.
Earlier this year, the father-son pair returned to our screens as they were announced as the hosts of the revamped version of the much-loved show Gladiators. Barney also stars in BBC One show Casualty, where he plays Cameron ‘Cam’ Mickelthwaite, a staff nurse who works in Holby City Hospital’s emergency department.
Away from the spotlight, the young actor has been linked to Stephanie Del Valle Diaz, a stunning Puerto Rican model and Miss World 2016 winner. It’s said that their relationship blossomed from friendship into romance.
“They started off as friends,” an insider told The Sun in 2022. “They have a great connection and understand that they’re both at the beginning of their careers, so they give each other the space to chase their dreams.”
It’s believed that Barney and 27 year old Stephanie first crossed paths when he hosted a Miss World competition back in 2017. While they keep most of their relationship under wraps, Stephanie has previously shared snaps of her and Barney on their adventures, including a romantic photo of them in Paris in 2017.
In 2019, the lovebirds set tongues wagging when they made a rare public appearance together at the BAFTA TV Awards, stunning onlookers with gorgeous red carpet photos alongside Barney’s doting parents, Bradley and Donna Derby.
Fast forward to 2022, the sizzling model shared a stunning snap of herself and her beau Barney, soaking up the beautiful sunset in Portugal. In her caption, she exclaimed: “Happy Three Kings Day with a beautiful sunset in Portugal or as we say in Spanish, ‘Happy Tricking Day’”.
The post went wild with fans heaping praise on the adorable couple, one fan gushing: “Awww you two are so cute together!”
With a staggering 86,400 followers on Instagram, Stephanie frequently delights fans with updates from her glamorous travels and successful work as a model. Back in 2016, she proudly wore the crown as the second Puerto Rican Miss World, but there’s more to Stephanie than just her beauty queen status – she also holds degrees in Law and Communication from Pace University in New York.
