Kellie Shirley lands big soap role 12 years after EastEnders exit2

Former EastEnders star Kellie Shirley will return to our screens this Saturday in an episode of Casualty.

Kellie is best known for her role as Carly Wicks in the BBC One soap. The actress played the daughter of Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) from 2006-2008, and then again in 2012.

In 2008, Carly departed Walford with Denise Fox (Diane Parish) to go travelling and scatter the ashes of Carly’s dad Kevin.

When Denise eventually returned, it was confirmed Carly had stayed in Thailand, and then travelled again to live in Australia.

In 2012, Denise revealed to Shirley that Carly had given birth to a little boy. Shirley attempted to contact her daughter but was rejected, causing her to breakdown.

In 2008, Carly departed Walford with Denise Fox (Diane Parish) to go travelling and scatter the ashes of Carly’s dad Kevin.

As Shirley spiralled in the aftermath of Ben Mitchell killing her best mate Heather Trott, Carly arrived back in Walford to try and help her mum.Có thể là hình ảnh về 3 người và tóc vàng

It eventually resulted in them making amends and Shirley deciding to leave with Carly and her boy Jimmy.

12 years on from these scenes, Kellie will be back on our screens tomorrow (Saturday, June 15) in Casualty.

The beginning of the new boxset, titled Storm Damage, will see the ED staff under huge stress when a freak weather storm arrives over Holby.

Kellie will portray a character called Sophia Peters, someone we will regularly see over the next 12 weeks.

Elsewhere, the series will also introduce us to Jamie Cleveland, portrayed by Emmerdale’s Ryan Hawley.
