Emmerdale fans are convinced that Tom King is about to face his downfall after months of tormenting his wife.
In recent episodes, Belle Dingle, portrayed by Eden Taylor-Draper, has been living in fear of her husband Tom (James Chase) as the ITV soap explores a storyline of coercive control. Tom has been isolating and manipulating Belle, even resorting to violence.
Belle, who was not ready to become a mother, secretly terminated her pregnancy out of fear that Tom would force her to keep the baby.
In a heart-wrenching scene, Belle tells Tom she suffered a miscarriage, leading him to deny the truth and insist the hospital “got it wrong”. Belle then described her “ordeal”, confirming she is no longer pregnant.

However, upcoming scenes will reveal that Tom discovers Belle’s secret visit to the abortion clinic. In a fit of rage, he destroys a nearby barn, but his actions lead to him being electrocuted and losing consciousness, reports the Express.
Meanwhile, Belle doesn’t keep her secret for long. A new teaser clip shows the moment she confesses the truth to someone else, leading to a revelation about her marriage.
The person in question is Belle’s Mental Health Care Coordinator Rachel, and what she hears from Belle leaves her concerned. Viewers will see Rachel appear to cotton on to Tom’s behaviour, advising Belle to take some time away from the village.

Prior to this, a scene shows the moment Belle avoids Rachel after her sudden visit. After trying to drop the conversation, she ends up confessing to her that she had a termination, and did not suffer a miscarriage.
It’s this confession that will lead Rachel to be concerned for Belle, and with her soon uncovering Tom’s manipulative behaviour. But Emmerdale viewers are not convinced Tom’s accident is what kills him nor will it be Belle exposing his horrendous behaviour, instead, he’ll be finished off by one villager who will take revenge.
Taking to social media, fans predict that Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) will be the one to kill Tom and put a stop to Belle’s abuse. This wouldn’t be the first time Belle’s nephew Kyle has pulled the trigger on someone after he shot Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) leaving his dad Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) to take the blame.
