There is a terrifying ordeal ahead for the Gulati-Panesar family in EastEnders next week, as Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) is found lifeless after collapsing.
The teenager’s life will be left hanging in the balance after his steroid use has tragic consequences.
As fans of the BBC soap will know, Nugget’s best friend Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) began taking performance enhancing drugs, later offering his pal some ahead of a boxing tournament.
However, their drugs use is set to alert a worried Zack Hudson (James Farrar) – who has a previous history of his own with steroids – who tries to warn Nugget’s dad Ravi (Aaron Thiara), but he refuses to listen.
As the day of the tournament arrives, Zack’s suspicions have only intensified following an altercation between Nugget and Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall), and he puts up a ‘drugs test’ sign at the Boxing Den. Denzel freaks out, unaware it’s just a deterrent.
When Denzel then fails to show up for his match, Nugget goes looking for him, but falls ill, heading to No. 41 in seek of help.
The teen then slumps down onto the pavement and passes out.

He is later found by his sister Avani (Aaliyah James), but as he’s rushed to hospital, parents Ravi and Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) are left inconsolable.
Will Nugget manage to pull through?
It’s touch and go for a bit, with Dr Miller telling Nugget’s family that his kidneys aren’t working properly, asking if he’s been taking drugs, which Ravi and Priya refute.
But the truth later comes out, with the doctor confirming that Nugget has been taking steroids.
