Corrie Kit’s sinister revenge plan for Bernie ‘revealed’ – and it’s not looking good

Coronation Street fans believe they’ve figured out how Kit will exact his revenge on his biological mother, Bernie.

Earlier this year, Bernie (played by Jane Hazlegrove) revealed she had a son whom she gave up for adoption nearly three decades ago. She only knew that his name was changed from Zodiac to Christopher Green shortly after his birth.

After finding him, it was disclosed that he was actually a detective who recently arrived in Weatherfield: Christopher ‘Kit’ Green. The truth about him being Bernie’s biological son eventually surfaced – but Kit (Jacob Roberts) wanted nothing to do with her or her family.

Meanwhile, Bernie’s twins Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Paul (Peter Ash) are oblivious to the fact they have another sibling.

Moreover, Kit played a role in getting Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper), a notorious criminal, imprisoned for the murder of Lauren Bolton. As viewers may remember, the troubled young girl disappeared earlier this year and is presumed dead, reports the Express.Bernie on Corrie

However, in a shocking turn of events, Kit planted Lauren’s DNA in paedophile Nathan’s van, framing him for her murder. In reality, the audience discovered the true circumstances of Lauren’s disappearance: she was beaten to death by lawyer Joel Deering (Calum Lill).

In Monday’s episode (July 1), despite agreeing with Bernie to reveal the truth to the twins together, Kit went behind her back and dropped the bombshell without her.

Gemma and Paul were left reeling from the revelation – and when she arrived, Bernie was appalled to find them all together.

In a stunning turn of events, Kit managed to spill the beans without Bernie cutting him off, leaving Gemma and Paul in a bitter row with their mother after he accused her of neglecting him during their childhood.

Now, Corrie enthusiasts are buzzing with theories that Kit and Bernie’s storyline is far from finished, with some fans speculating Kit could concoct a diabolical plan to frame Bernie for a crime as payback.

On Reddit, speculation is rife with one user exclaiming: “What’s Kit’s game here? ! ” another promptly responded: “Get back at Bernie probably make Paul hate her and not be able to forgive her :(.”

Meanwhile, over on the social platform formally known as Twitter, viewers are sounding the alarm, with one fan declaring: “Right that’s it! Kit is officially a wrong ‘un!” Another hypothesised: “I think he’s going to frame Bernie for a crime or something, the ultimate payback.”

Echoing the sense of unease, one viewer remarked: “He’s not right this one. I think that Kit’s in league with Joel. I’ve just got this feeling.” While an additional commenter shared their suspicions: “Something’s definitely not right about Kit. I’ve got a bad feeling about him.”
