William Beck, who plays Dylan Keogh on Casualty, was applauded as a
“scene-stealer” in the latest intense episode of BBC’s much-loved medical series.
The episode, which aired on Saturday, August 31, was a pivotal instalment in the Storm Damage miniseries.
During the 10th episode of the thrilling drama, Iain Dean (played by Michael Stevenson)
discovers critical new details regarding his attacker. Simultaneously, Jan Jenning (Di Botcher) and Jacob Masters (Charles Venn) provide aid to a young stroke victim.
However, it was Dylan’s plot that had viewers on edge as he embarks on a date with Sophia Peters (Kellie Shirley) despite still grieving over the death of his loyal dog Dervla. The date kicks off awkwardly and unfortunately doesn’t improve much from there.
The encounter becomes increasingly serious until Sophia abruptly leaves, forcing a solitary Dylan to finish his drink alone at the Hope and Anchor, visibly ill at ease.

Opinions among viewers were divided regarding the potential romance, but they were united in their praise for William’s outstanding acting in this episode, reports OK!.
“Dylan’s the best. Steals every scene he’s in,” one viewer enthusiastically posted on X (formerly Twitter ), with another adding, “And I know I’ve said it many times, but William Beck is a superb actor.”
Fans continued to express their admiration with comments like, “Dylan Keogh appreciation post because he deserves it (And so does Will Beck because he’s a brilliant actor),” whilst another said affectionately, “We love you Dylan Keogh. He’s the sweetest.”
