UPCOMING: Virgin River fans predict devastating outcome for key romance in season 6

Fans of the hit Netflix series Virgin River are discussing if a key romance will make it through the next season – and most aren’t convinced.

Virgin River fans are predicting it will be curtains for Dan Brady (played by Ben Hollingsworth) and Lark (Elise Gatien) by the end of season six.

There have been plenty of new romances in later seasons of the hit Netflix drama, including Preacher’s (Colin Lawrence) spicy romance with firefighter Kaia (Kandyse McClure) and young love flourishing between Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale) and Denny (Kai Bradbury).

However, there was also some heartbreak in season five as Brie Sheridan (Zibby Allen) decided to call it quits with Brady when she realised she couldn’t trust he had completely severed ties with Calvin’s (David Cubitt) shady drug trade.

While Brady was doing everything he could to lead an honest life, it appears his new flame has other ideas.

In Virgin River’s recent holiday episodes, Lark received a call from Jimmy (Ian Tracey), Calvin’s righthand man who previously held Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) and Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) at gunpoint.

Will Lark tempt Brady back into the underworld? Or will he realise he has to call it quits on his new fling before it’s too late?

Fans have taken to online forums to discuss if their relationship is heading to disaster when the drama kicks off again soon.

“Who is team Brady & Lark????” one viewer asked on Reddit, prompting the same response from practically every fan who replied.

“No way. She’s up to something,” someone replied, prompting a response of “Yes I just saw that episode [sad face]” from the original poster.

Another viewer kept things more cryptic, penning: “I was until something about her relationship with someone else was revealed. I’m not sure if you’re all caught up. So I don’t wanna say too much.”

A third responded: “Great question, but heck no! She’s on Jimmy’s side just trying to sabotage him.”

Fans were clearly disappointed when the twist was unveiled, and some of them could even still be rooting for Lark and Brady when the show returns.

Could Lark eventually see the error of her ways and start a new life on the straight and narrow to keep their romance intact?

One fan admitted: “I was all for their relationship, til her connection with Jimmy was revealed.

“Lark seemed like a good fit for Brady. Too bad she’s a scammer.”

And another replied: “I mean… she’s kind of out for him… So I guess, yes. Yes, I am.”

Brady has been one of the most divisive characters over the course of Virgin River’s five seasons so far, so whatever lies in store in season six is guaranteed to provoke a lot of discussion.
